In this exhibition during the foliage season in Vermont, Janet Fredericks and Charlie Hunter are presenting new bodies of work in two concurrent individual exhibitions. Fredericks’ “Souvenirs” is a celebration of places lived, places traveled, and places of the imagination and heart.
With “Arrivals and Departures,” Hunter’s plein aire oil paintings present Vermont’s railroad depots and village streets with realism and sympathy, bringing into focus the intersection of the past and present.
Both artists capture the relics and nostalgia of place.
